LOUIS F. SCHOFIELD was admitted to the California State Bar in 1971. He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara (B.A., 1967); and Hastings College of Law, University of California (J.D., 1970). He is certified as a mediator and has served as a court-appointed Arbitrator and Mediator for the Contra Costa County Superior Court. He is a member of the Alameda County Bar Association, the Contra Costa County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and the Northern California Association of Defense Counsel. His litigation practice includes appellate, toxic torts, insurance bad faith, construction, insurance coverage, personal injury, probate, real estate, title insurance matters, trust matters, and business litigation, including business tort and directors’ and officers’ liability.
